Do you want to be part of Gameport?
This is how we work.

1. workshops - evaluation

BBI conducts various workshops where you have the opportunity to evaluate and develop your business idea using established startup techniques. A workshop can last from 2 to 24 hours and is designed in different ways depending on what we want to achieve or what our mission is. Some are open to the public and aim to raise interest in entrepreneurship. Others relate to a specifically invited group of participants and are carried out internally with the companies at the incubator or on behalf of an external organization. We also work in workshops to evaluate startups applying for a place in the incubator.

A few times a year we arrange a Startup Challenge where business ideas compete for some start-up capital and a place in our incubation program - Startup Program. Are you curious about our workshops? Check out our calendar or contact us to discuss a workshop specifically designed for your organization.

2. BBI Startup and Execution

If you have decided to start a business, you can apply for a place in BBI's incubation program. If we see potential in you and your business idea, you will be admitted to the first part of the program - Startup Program - and offered an office space in a suitable BBI office. You set up your company and all the formal business elements are completed. You participate in the program where you learn marketing and sales, financing, pitching, networking and personal leadership. You work on developing early prototypes and conducting product and market tests to learn more about your market and refine your offering. You will receive ongoing business development from our staff. This first part of the BBI Startup Program ends with a Demo Day where you present your company to potential customers, financiers and others.

If you can demonstrate at this stage that your business idea and offer has sales potential, you will move on to the next stage of the incubation program - Startup Execution. This is where you work to get your sales work started in earnest. Now you move from a program to a focus on growth, customers and sales. You will receive business coaching as well as boost days and support in the process of raising capital. If you have not managed to verify your business model and market during the Startup Program, we recommend that you make an early "exit". This means leaving the incubator to continue your verification work on your own using your newly acquired knowledge, or even leaving your business idea behind to make room for a new idea. Many successful entrepreneurs have "scrapped" several ideas before reaching success. Sometimes it's a matter of timing. You leave the incubator to give more entrepreneurs the chance to test and verify their business idea. You can come back to BBI at any time to test your idea again.

3. BBI Scaleup - Program

If there is potential for growth, you move on to BBI's Acceleration Program - Scaleup Program. You are now in a phase where the company is growing at a rapid pace. You get help with financing and preparing customer meetings in a global market. You can also apply directly to the acceleration program without having participated in the incubation program. You may have been running your business for a while or want to spin off part of your business into a new company. To apply, your company must have a functioning team and a scalable business model. During the program, we work with professional methods to kick-start your growth curve. We evaluate the strengths and improvement potential of your company and decide what you should work on to prepare your product/service and organization for volume management. If you are planning to go international, it is time to investigate suitable export markets. There may be a need to seek additional risk capital. You will be offered to participate in a number of boost days focusing on growth issues and we will help you to get a good work in advisory board or board of directors. You will have access to ongoing business development and office space at a suitable BBI office.
